Villa Escudero: Overwhelming Serenity
A self-contained working coconut plantation, It was founded in the 1880s by Don Placido Escudero and his wife Dona Claudia Marasigan. Originally planted to sugarcane, the crop was converted to coconut by their son Don Arsenio Escudero in the early 1900s. A pioneering agro-industrialist, he built the country’s first working hydroelectric plant to supply his dessicated coconut factory and Villa Escudero, where he and his wife Dona Rosario Adap built in 1929.
There are various activities to enjoy with the family. Among these are the carabao shuttle ride, the museum, lake rafting, and the swimming pools. There is also a very inviting buffet lunch at the foot of the waterfalls as part of the package. They also present a cultural show.
Here are some of the activities I enjoyed and spots I visited in Villa Escudero:
Local folks will serenade you on carabao shuttle ride that transport you going to a man-made waterfall that provides hydroelectric power to the plantation.
The Philippine Cultural Show showcases the country’s rich culture that has been preserved by traditional dances and music.
Swimming pool, this includes one pool for the children, an infinity pool and an adult only pool located above.
A day in Villa Escudero is a treat to anyone who search for peace and quiet. If you're looking for a place to unwind and be totally immersed in nature, Villa Escudero Plantation and Resort should serve you well. Photography became my hobby when I was in Villa Escudero that allows me to capture and share the beauty of the world. I become interested in taking snapshots of everyday moments, focusing on landscape photography, and diving into more creative and abstract forms, there is always a place for you in the photography community. Photography is a wonderful hobby and profession that can help you capture moments, express your creativity, and even tell stories through visuals.
Your visit to Villa Escudero sounds absolutely delightful! The way you described the Labasin Waterfalls Restaurant really paints a picture of an enchanting dining experience.
